HOW DO I INSTALL MY AIR FILTER?

Installing your air filter is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Turn off your system – Always switch off your HVAC unit before changing the filter.
  2. Locate the filter slot – This is usually near the return air duct or inside the furnace/air handler.
  3. Remove the old filter – Slide it out carefully and check the size printed on the edge.
  4. Insert the new filter – Make sure the arrows on the filter frame point in the direction of the airflow (toward the furnace or blower).
  5. Turn your system back on – Enjoy cleaner air right away.

WHEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY AIR FILTER?

Knowing when to replace your air filter is just as important as choosing the right one. On average, filters should be replaced every 1–3 months depending on your home and lifestyle.

  • Every 30 days if you have pets, allergies, or a busy household.
  • Every 60–90 days for an average home without pets or allergies.
